To print

Alphabet chart, your name, cards, bingo. Raised ones too, with glue.

Make raised Braille

  1. Print the sheet with the “Raised” option: the dots become big circles.
  2. On each filled circle put a drop of PVA glue (it dries puffy), a sticky dot, a lentil or a bead.
  3. Wait for it to dry, close your eyes and read with the tip of your index finger.

For teachers: real Braille is small (each dot is about one and a half millimetres wide) and is written with a slate and stylus or with a Perkins Braille writer. The raised sheets are bigger on purpose: they help you understand how it works, not read like a Braille reader.
